Local Council Elections 2024
Community newspapers Warrandyte Diary and Manningham & Nillumbik Bulletin will be providing coverage of the 2024 Local Council Elections in the municipalities of Manningham and Nillumbik.
This is a postal vote election.
Our publications between Close of Nominations to Close of Voting are:
- September Manningham & Nillumbik Bulletin (September 23)
- October Warrandyte Diary (October 7)
- October Manningham & Nillumbik Bulletin (October 21)
Results will be published in the November Manningham & Nillumbik Bulletin and December Warrandyte Diary.
Candidate Coverage
At present, coverage in the October Warrandyte Diary and October Manningham & Nillumbik Bulletin will depend on space and candidate response.
Candidate coverage is via three questions which can be filled out via the Google Form (link below).
- Candidates are requested to follow the link to a Google Form to fill out a survey the questions and answers will be published.
- Note Authorisation Statement is “Authorised by [FULL NAME], [ADDRESS or PO BOX]”.
- Please respond with simple sentences (no bullet points).

- The three questions and your responses will be printed verbatim in the relevant editions.
Advertising Opportunities
Candidates also have the opportunity to place an advertisement in any/all editions published before the Close of Voting:
- October Warrandyte Diary (deadline = Friday 27th September)
- October Manningham & Nillumbik Bulletin (deadline = Monday 14th October)

Each candidate/party may place one (1) ad in each edition in either Business Card, Quarter Page Vertical or Half Page size.
All ads must include:
- The word “Advertisement” at the top of the ad
- An authorisation statement at the bottom.
- Both in at least 10pt font, non-italicised and on a contrasting background so it is easy to read.

There is no preferred placement, final say on ad placement is with the Editors.
